Cultural Creatives Unite During Harmonic Convergence, 1987
Sarah HP had taken me to this land in 1980. The sign on the fence said, NO TRESPASSING. But it was my birthday, same as the date on the sign. It read like a green light to us and she brought me to a huge boulder with a cave and pertroglyphs in side the rock, it was that big! It had a small opening in the ceiling where I could put my head through and sight along the pacific coast, like many an indian brave had long before, standing in the same spot. I felt the energy of my ansestors. I got to tell the land owner, Eric Wright (Frank Lloyd Wrights cousin) how I had trespassed on his land all those years ago. Eric said, "I had forgotten to put one line on the warning...'UNLESS IT's YOUR BIRTHDAY!." We laughed as his words banished any idea of tresspass. The day had been 4-11. That was 3 months exactly from the day that V.A.R.I.O.U.S. and Creativity Cafe were born, on July 11, 1980 in a vision under the stars not far from this land, at Zuma Beach California.
